Felipe Pirmin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Gaudencio Rafel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Zapla AFC booed when Angastaco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clodoveo Unai didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute Baldomero Santo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaudencio Rafel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baldomero Santo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 7th minute. Zapla AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 11th minute Paolo Satordi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Guerrero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonatan Elixio hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 23rdth minute of the game Paolo Satordi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zapla AFC's Christian Guerrero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 29th minute, Paolo Satordi made a precise shot to the right of Christian Guerrero. Zapla AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Paolo Satordi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christian Guerrero having to make a save. In the 36th minute, Angastaco's Artemio Bilintx seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Artemio Bilintx the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Angastaco protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Artemio Bilintx had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Angastaco fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 35th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Zapla AFC a penalty, 38 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Celso Elazar, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Angastaco's Gaudencio Rafel. 1-1. Gaudencio Rafel made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Felipe Pirmin sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Baldomero Santo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zapla AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Baldomero Santo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaudencio Rafel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gaudencio Rafel made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Felipe Pirmin sent off a good shot on target. Baldomero Santo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaudencio Rafel having to interfere. Gaudencio Rafel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomero Santo in the 49th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paolo Satordi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Felipe Pirmin struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Gaudencio Rafel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zapla AFC. 57 minutes into the match, Zapla AFC's goalkeeper Christian Guerrero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paolo Satordi. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Clodoveo Unai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Angastaco's supporters rose to their feet, but Clodoveo Unai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Guerrero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gaudencio Rafel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomero Santo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zapla AFC's Christian Guerrero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Zapla AFC from getting a goal against them. Felipe Pirmin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaudencio Rafel having to interfere. Gaston Mundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had been going on for 81 minutes, Angastaco's Pablo Gaizko got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Christian Guerrero. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zapla AFC's goalkeeper Christian Guerrero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 86 played minutes Zapla AFC got a freekick which was hit by Celso Elazar. 93 minutes into the game, Zapla AFC's Baldomero Santo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gaudencio Rafel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Paolo Satordi struck a weak shot in the 99th minute. Christian Guerrero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Angastaco.
