But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felipe Pirmin couldn't finish the play. Baldomero Santo struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Cornelio Luken didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zapla AFC. Zapla AFC's Felipe Pirmin got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ulises Odol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Christian Guerrero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Bruno Salvator fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Igor FC's protests and gave Bruno Salvator a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Igor FC's Bruno Salvator got a free kick in the 26th minute. Cornelio Luken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomero Santo, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The supporters of Igor FC booed when Zapla AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Pirmin didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baldomero Santo in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cornelio Luken saved Igor FC from getting behind. When Jonatan Elixio fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zapla AFC's protests and gave Jonatan Elixio a yellow card for diving instead. After 34 played minutes Zapla AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jonatan Elixio. Bruno Salvator received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Cornelio Luken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomero Santo in the 45th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bruno Salvator was the one to do the kick off. Christian Guerrero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ulises Odol's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. In the 53rd minute, Bruno Salvator got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Igor FC's Javier Hechter got a free kick in the 57th minute. Felipe Pirmin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Cornelio Luken made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipe Pirmin got free with Cornelio Luken in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Igor FC's goalkeeper Cornelio Luken, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebastian Peio during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sebastian Peio hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. If Felipe Pirmin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 74 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Zapla AFC! In the 75th minute there was a penalty for Igor FC. Moises Jax stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Christian Guerrero. 1-0. After having played for 80 minutes, Bruno Salvator managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Igor FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Salvator was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felipe Pirmin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Cornelio Luken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Baldomero Santo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moises Jax charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moises Jax the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 93 played minutes Igor FC got a freekick which was hit by Moises Jax. Baldomero Santo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zapla AFC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Igor FC had won, even though Zapla AFC had held more of the ball.
