Dalmacio Donostia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Carmelo Silbestre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carmelo Silbestre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmacio Donostia in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Santa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmacio Donostia came free, but Carmelo Silbestre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 13 minutes Santa FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marcelino Acosta who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Indios Moreno's Marcelino Acosta to fire away a dangerous shot which Carmelo Silbestre despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Severino Procopio kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Romulo Geofredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santa FC's Orlando Perpinya got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carmelo Silbestre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristo Veronica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patricio Erasto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlando Perpinya in the 48th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Cristo Veronica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmelo Silbestre having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Santa FC's Cosme Pacho got a free kick in the 56th minute. Dalmacio Donostia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute of the match, Cristo Veronica tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Carmelo Silbestre saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Dalmacio Donostia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carmelo Silbestre was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Cristo Veronica capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristo Veronica really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. 66 minutes into the match, Indios Moreno's Dalmacio Donostia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carmelo Silbestre narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dalmacio Donostia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmelo Silbestre having to interfere. After 73 played minutes Indios Moreno got a freekick which was hit by Anier Maurin. Cristo Veronica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Santa FC's Carmelo Silbestre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristo Veronica in the 87th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Cristo Veronica took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Carmelo Silbestre to make any attempt to save it. If Cristo Veronica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Cristo Veronica got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Indios Moreno's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
