The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Benjamin Geleberto put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Celestino Argoitz. The long shot by Ernesto Hustaz in the 9th minute really tested Anibal Sandalio's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Anibal Sandalio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliciano Gaueko in the 10th minute of the match. Anibal Sandalio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Tajo in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, Fili F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Manex to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Patricio Ponc in the 16th minute really tested Anibal Sandalio's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Anibal Sandalio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 24th minute, Benjamin Geleberto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celestino Argoitz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Balcozna:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fili F.C.:s goal. Valentin Olando shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 47th minute Benjamin Geleberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celestino Argoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Feliciano Gaueko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Balcozna's Celestino Argoitz got control of the ball when Aquiles Chayo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 58th minute, Mariano Aresti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anibal Sandalio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After 67 played minutes Fili F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Omar Palban. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Aresti in the 74th minute of play forced Fili F.C.'s goalkeeper Anibal Sandalio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Feliciano Gaueko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Anibal Sandalio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mariano Aresti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anibal Sandalio having to interfere. Fili F.C.'s Aquiles Chayo got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 92nd minute Benjamin Geleberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celestino Argoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Balcozna's Patricio Ponc got a free kick in the 95th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Fili F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
