The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th match minute, Primates was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Gorosti to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Primates's zone, Fabian Abella stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sylwester Tarasek came out of the goal and Fabian Abella tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aquiles Paio during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aquiles Paio kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Generoso Fernado in the 12th minute of play forced Unión's goalkeeper Isidoro Breogan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aquiles Paio scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isidoro Breogan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Generoso Fernado scored 0-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isidoro Breogan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Victorino Maurin came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Unión fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victorino Maurin couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victorino Maurin made a kick off. Aquiles Paios short, quick shot in the 51stth minute got Isidoro Breogan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 54 minutes Primates's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fabian Abella who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Unión's corner Fabian Abella fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sylwester Tarasek quite easily take care of the ball. Isidoro Breogan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Generoso Fernado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Generoso Fernado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Breogan having to interfere. The supporters of Unión booed when Primates was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Gaufred didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfonso Gasteiz kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. With a little luck, Unión's Isidoro Breogan got control of the ball when Alfonso Gasteiz tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfonso Gasteiz got free with Isidoro Breogan in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Isidoro Breogan was a little too slow when Generoso Fernado got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 0-6. When the match was over Primates could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Unión throughout the match.
