Nemesio Olando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The FC José C. Paz fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when FC José C. Paz's Ezequiel Illart looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The wind increased when Jonas Jeraldo made the kick off in the second half. Epifanio Txindoki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardino Senio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Helvecia's zone, Bernardino Senio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Epifanio Txindoki came out of the goal and Bernardino Senio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Augusto Pancho kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. If Jorge Urti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th match minute, Helvecia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ildefonso Txanton to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the game, FC José C. Paz's Ezequiel Illart nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Epifanio Txindoki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manuel Tuste got free with Nemesio Olando in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Jorge Urti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After taking down the ball on Helvecia's corner Edelmiro Bertol fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nemesio Olando quite easily take care of the ball. Helvecia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
