After 24 minutes, Ceferino Cordara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Piedritas United and the Sarmiento players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Federico Gaufred came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Sarmiento fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Federico Gaufred couldn't finish the play. Sarmiento's Victorio Locaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceferino Cordara in the 74th minute of play. Ceferino Cordara might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victorio Locaio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. When Piedritas United's Ceferino Cordara in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sarmiento's goalie prevented a goal.
