Spectators: 7174 (Terracing: 5414, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 100) Pirámide FC's Edgard Duarte started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 5 minutes, Delmiro Paublo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pirámide FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delmiro Paublo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aquiles Gitano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee felt a red card was in order, 14 minutes into the game, when Cirilo Etxekopar put in a rough tackle. In the 14th minute, one of Guardian Fc:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Guardian Fc. Casimiro Barto shot the penalty kick right outside the post. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Casimiro Barto put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Marcelo Socorro. Cesar Formerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Cerilo having to interfere. Jonas Cerilo made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Apolo Jatsu sent off a good shot on target. After 26 played minutes Pirámide FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Bide. Omar Gilesindo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Jonas Cerilo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cesar Formerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the match, Guardian Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Delmiro Paublo came free, but Marcelo Socorro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Edgard Duarte notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Guardian Fc's Marcelo Socorro. Marcelo Socorro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 47th minute of the match Pirámide FC got a corner. Guardian Fc's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Casimiro Barto ran over to the corner to take the kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Omar Gilesindo made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Guardian Fc's Eduardo Adrio got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Cesar Formerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Delmiro Paublo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Marcelo Socorro made a huge save. 61 minutes into the match, Guardian Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Duarte came free, but Marcelo Socorro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelo Socorro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Delmiro Paublos short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Marcelo Socorro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Edgard Duarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st minute, Cesar Formerio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcelo Socorro was a little too slow when Edgard Duarte got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 0-3. Cesar Formerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Jonas Cerilo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Pirámide FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Saul Bilbo hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Omar Gilesindo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guardian Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Omar Gilesindo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonas Cerilo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Apolo Jatsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pirámide FC's Jonas Cerilo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Jatsu in the 88th minute of play.
