In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Helvecia's goalkeeper Epifanio Txindoki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Sarmiento's zone, Jonas Jeraldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victorio Locaio came out of the goal and Jonas Jeraldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Jonas Jeraldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorio Locaio having to interfere. Jorge Urtis short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Victorio Locaio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 60th minute Helvecia were awarded a corner. Edelmiro Bertol went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Helvecia's corner Edelmiro Bertol fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Victorio Locaio quite easily take care of the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Jorge Urti notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Sarmiento's Victorio Locaio. Victorio Locaio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Epifanio Txindoki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Gaufred in the 67th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonas Jeraldo in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victorio Locaio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Helvecia's attack was well implemented in the 73rd minute, but when Jonas Jeraldo was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. When Jorge Urti came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Helvecia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Urti couldn't finish the play. Jonas Jeraldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Jorge Urti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Helvecia's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Urti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victorio Locaio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Federico Gaufred had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonas Jeraldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 89 minutes, Jorge Urti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Helvecia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Urti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jorge Urti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sarmiento's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jonas Jeraldo 94 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. Helvecia played a much better game than Sarmiento and deserved their victory. The Sarmiento players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
