An unexpectedly hard shot by Geronimo Evis in the 14th minute of play forced El Guapo's goalkeeper Casimiro Reynardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leo Birila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciriaco Irrintzi having to interfere. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in El Guapo reached it. Arsenio Esquipula didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the match, El Guapo's Erasmo Panfilo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. After a rather tough play, El Guapo's Honorato Txindoki got a free kick in the 41st minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 89 played minutes Esfumados got a freekick which was hit by Ladislao Iliana. 92 minutes into the match, El Guapo's goal looked a bit too open when Anastasio Salomon came free, but Casimiro Reynardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. El Guapo were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
