Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Honorio Loiola to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Loreto booed when La Manga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filiberto Jon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sergio Caradaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Silban in the 59th minute of the match. Uriel Jerold could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Silvio Quinton made a huge save. When Honorio Loiola came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Loreto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Honorio Loiola couldn't finish the play. 66 minutes into the game, Filiberto Jon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Manga FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Loreto the free kick. A collision led to La Manga FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Filiberto Jon hit a great ball. Blas Matro charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Blas Matro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 72 minutes, Ignacio Monte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Loreto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignacio Monte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Donato Telesforo fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Manga FC's protests and gave Donato Telesforo a yellow card for diving instead. Filiberto Jon kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Cecilio Ospetsu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silvio Quinton having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in La Manga FC's zone, Honorio Loiola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvio Quinton came out of the goal and Honorio Loiola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Manga FC's goalkeeper Silvio Quinton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Silvio Quinton made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Honorio Loiola sent off a good shot on target.
