Anastasio Salomon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Leandro Eskuin made a huge save. Leandro Eskuin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Anastasio Salomon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 25 minute of play. The supporters of Esfumados booed when Lamarque FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulgencio Beila didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anastasio Salomon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Gustavo Sendoa put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ciriaco Irrintzi. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gustavo Sendoa to strike the kick off in the second half.
