Devastados's Cosme Ulizes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixto Garaona in the 3rd minute of play. In the 7th minute, Alvaro Behe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Gustavo Sendoa came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Lamarque FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Sendoa couldn't finish the play. Danilo Sal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Leandro Eskuin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gervasio Chorache hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Fulgencio Beila might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cosme Ulizes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fulgencio Beila ran back to his position shaking his head. Gustavo Sendoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th match minute, Devastados was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Behe to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixto Garaona in the 38th minute of play forced Devastados's goalkeeper Cosme Ulizes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danilo Sal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Leandro Eskuin made a huge save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustavo Sendoa to make the kick off. Sixto Garaona could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Cosme Ulizes made a huge save. Sixto Garaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fulgencio Beila came free with the goalkeeper in the 56th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cosme Ulizes could save by the left post. In the 59th minute, Sixto Garaona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cosme Ulizes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Alvaro Behe fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Devastados's protests and gave Alvaro Behe a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Devastados getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Alvaro Behe hit a great ball. In the 75th match minute, Devastados was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Behe to maneuver through the defense. Cosme Ulizes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Sendoa in the 77th minute of the match. Cosme Ulizes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Sendoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernardino Federigo during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 84 played minutes Devastados got a freekick which was hit by Bernardino Federigo. 85 minutes into the match, Lamarque FC's Mauro Enetz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cosme Ulizes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
