After 27 minutes, Gerardo Eusko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Campanas and the Sepulturas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Campanas getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Mateo Frechoso hit a great ball. Urbano Olayo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Aldo Fertus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aldo Fertus was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Ovidio Endira capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ovidio Endira really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. An unexpected shot in the 41st minute by Gerardo Eusko got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidio Endira in the 48th minute of play forced Sepulturas FC's goalkeeper Aldo Fertus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zeledon Iratze made a kick off. Ovidio Endira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Aldo Fertus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Sepulturas FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Aldo Fertus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidio Endira, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Aldo Fertus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidio Endira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sepulturas FC's Aldo Fertus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidio Endira in the 81st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Sepulturas FC's zone, Ovidio Endira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aldo Fertus came out of the goal and Ovidio Endira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ovidio Endira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Fertus having to interfere. Campanas's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
