Aldo Fertus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aldo Fertus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliberto Cordarrol, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Sepulturas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Feliberto Cordarrol came free, but Aldo Fertus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 14 minutes, Luis Nafarroa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hernández FC and the Sepulturas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hernández FC! In the 17th minute there was a penalty for Sepulturas FC. Rosendo Cucao stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Aldo Richie. 1-1. In the 20th minute, Fabian Herensuge reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aldo Fertus. The goal made the score 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angelino Shantala during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 23 played minutes Sepulturas FC got a freekick which was hit by Angelino Shantala. Aldo Fertus made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Fabian Herensuge sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of Sepulturas FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hernández FC:s goal. Narciso Todor shot the penalty kick right outside the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliberto Cordarrol in the 50th minute of play forced Sepulturas FC's goalkeeper Aldo Fertus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zeledon Iratze to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Herensuge in the 55th minute of play forced Sepulturas FC's goalkeeper Aldo Fertus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Sepulturas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Feliberto Cordarrol came free, but Aldo Fertus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feliberto Cordarrol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Sepulturas FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Angelino Shantala hit a great ball. When Simon Markel came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Sepulturas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simon Markel couldn't finish the play. After having played for 79 minutes, Fabian Herensuge managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hernández FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabian Herensuge was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Sepulturas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Feliberto Cordarrol came free, but Aldo Fertus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angelino Shantala hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Herensuge in the 83rd minute of play forced Sepulturas FC's goalkeeper Aldo Fertus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simon Markel charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Simon Markel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Sepulturas FC's Simon Markel got a free kick in the 85th minute. Narciso Todor was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 86th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Feliberto Cordarrol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Fertus having to interfere. Angelino Shantala got his second yellow card in the match during the 91st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 92 played minutes Sepulturas FC got a freekick which was hit by Angelino Shantala. In the 94th minute, Feliberto Cordarrol ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aldo Fertus was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. If Fabian Herensuge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sepulturas FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
