After 5 played minutes Campanas got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Presebal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fausto Fero during the 8th minute. When El taladro's Clemente Gabon in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Carlos Oxel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Clemente Gabon put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Carlos Oxel. The El taladro fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when El taladro's Clemente Gabon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Campanas's Carlos Oxel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Ramirez in the 39th minute of play. In the 39th match minute, Campanas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urbano Olayo to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute, Clemente Gabon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to El taladro getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Sebastian Ramirez hit a great ball.

After 52 played minutes El taladro got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Ramirez. When Mateo Frechoso fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Campanas's protests and gave Mateo Frechoso a yellow card for diving instead. If Clemente Gabon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 60 minutes, Sebastian Ramirez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El taladro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Ramirez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Sebastian Ramirez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ovidio Endira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Clemente Gabon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zachariasz Frenzel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidio Endira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to El taladro getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Sebastian Ramirez hit a great ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. El taladro had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
