The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the match, Criaturitas del Señor's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Iratze came free, but Dario Quilino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zeledon Iratze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Dario Quilino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dario Quilino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Iratze, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The supporters of Sepulturas FC booed when Criaturitas del Señor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anibal Quirce didn't get a good kick on the ball. Melquiades Fernado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Criaturitas del Señor booed when Sepulturas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomiro Kauldi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute Melquiades Fernado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Fertus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zeledon Iratze was the one to do the kick off. Baldomiro Kauldi hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Melquiades Fernado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Fertus having to interfere. Ciro Matthew struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Aldo Fertus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Criaturitas del Señor. After 64 played minutes Sepulturas FC got a freekick which was hit by Cesar Esdras. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melquiades Fernado in the 67th minute of play forced Sepulturas FC's goalkeeper Aldo Fertus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aldo Fertus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melquiades Fernado, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Dario Quilino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Iratze in the 70th minute of play. One of Sepulturas FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Criaturitas del Señor:s goal. Melquiades Fernado scored 2-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aldo Fertus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aldo Fertus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melquiades Fernado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Criaturitas del Señor's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
