Dalmacio Giraldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Theobald having to interfere. In the 8th match minute, Tambillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nemesio Musko to maneuver through the defense. Ovidio Endira struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Valentin Theobald didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Campanas. After a defensive mix-up in Tambillo's zone, Ovidio Endira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valentin Theobald came out of the goal and Ovidio Endira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Tambillo getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Fernando Senon hit a great ball. Ovidio Endira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Valentin Theobald came out and tried to block the shot, but Ovidio Endira slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 16th minute. In the 19th match minute, Tambillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Senon to maneuver through the defense. Valentin Theobald showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidio Endira in the 20th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Dalmacio Giraldo took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Valentin Theobald to make any attempt to save it. Valentin Theobald took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidio Endira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Andres Salomone fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Campanas's protests and gave Andres Salomone a yellow card for diving instead. Andres Salomone kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Tambillo's goalkeeper Valentin Theobald had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Urbano Olayo. 39 minutes into the game, Tambillo's Rodolfo Berdoi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Oxel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. With a little luck, Tambillo's Valentin Theobald got control of the ball when Urbano Olayo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 48 minutes, Ovidio Endira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Campanas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ovidio Endira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rodolfo Berdoi to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd play minute Antonio Guzman came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Carlos Oxel. 2-2. Campanas walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
