But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jesus Marin couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Branca Unico FC's Ernesto Bonadona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Olando in the 52nd minute of play. Fausto Olando received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ernesto Bonadona came out and tried to block the shot, but Fausto Olando slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 53rd minute. In the 64thth minute of the game Silvio Jobo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A. Pochito FC's Feliciano Bermund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fausto Olando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ernesto Bonadona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jesus Marin in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Feliciano Bermund saved C.A. Pochito FC from getting behind. Julian Viviano's late challenge caught a Branca Unico FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julian Viviano helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Branca Unico FC booed when C.A. Pochito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Viviano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Feliciano Bermund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesus Marin in the 74th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fausto Olando in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernesto Bonadona prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leonides Egoi kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Pochito FC's Feliciano Bermund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvio Jobo in the 86th minute of play. Feliciano Bermund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silvio Jobo went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Leonides Egoi hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. If Conrado Juvenal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernesto Bonadona stood somewhat misplaced when Fausto Olando came free in front of goal and shot 2-2 to the left of him in the 96 minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
