After a defensive mix-up in Magic FC's zone, Feliberto Cordarrol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregorio James came out of the goal and Feliberto Cordarrol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gregorio James took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Herensuge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Feliberto Cordarrol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, Hernández FC's goal looked a bit too open when Josué Quintela came free, but Aldo Richie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 18 minutes, Rodrigo Gaxan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hernández FC and the Magic FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 18 played minutes Hernández FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Gaxan. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Josué Quintela in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aldo Richie saved Hernández FC from getting behind. 22 minutes into the match, Hernández FC's Fabian Herensuge sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gregorio James narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Feliberto Cordarrol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Magic FC's Rodolfo Astrada got a free kick in the 26th minute. Feliberto Cordarrol kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Victoriano Cisco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Magic FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Victoriano Cisco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aldo Richie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Josué Quintela in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aldo Richie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gregorio James showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliberto Cordarrol, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. If Feliberto Cordarrol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Josué Quintela took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Aldo Richie to make any attempt to save it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ceferino Sayveon fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hernández FC's protests and gave Ceferino Sayveon a yellow card for diving instead. Hernández FC's Feliberto Cordarrol got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Feliberto Cordarrol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Gregorio James tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 71 minutes, Aldo Urko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Magic FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aldo Urko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd match minute, Hernández FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregorio Gonsalvo to maneuver through the defense. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Magic FC had played much better football throughout.
