Spectators: 7256 (Terracing: 5443, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alejo Bihar kicked off to start the match. Geronimo Hug kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaudencio Pio got free with Eustaquio Gonzo in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 4 played minutes Excursionistas got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Otsoko. In the 6th minute, Maipú's Gaudencio Pio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 10th match minute, Excursionistas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anacleto Joachim to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 15 minutes, Alejo Bihar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maipú's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejo Bihar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16th minute, Adan Duarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the match, Excursionistas's goalkeeper Eustaquio Gonzo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaudencio Pio. Alejo Bihar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustaquio Gonzo having to interfere. A collision led to Excursionistas getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Anacleto Joachim hit a great ball. Geronimo Hug kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eustaquio Gonzo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nestor Unai was the one to do the kick off. When Alejo Bihar came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Maipú fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alejo Bihar couldn't finish the play. If Alejo Bihar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
