After a rather tough play, Maipú's Virgo Nørkov got a free kick in the 2nd minute. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Alejo Bihar took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Rogelio Demario to make any attempt to save it. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Gaudencio Pio put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Rogelio Demario. In the 17th match minute, Maipú was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Deunoro to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute Jonatan Celio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Dominguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Pedro Deunoro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hermengildo Oxarra struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Danilo Dominguez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moreno FC. Danilo Dominguez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonatan Celio took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Danilo Dominguez. Danilo Dominguez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Moreno FC's Rogelio Demario proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Moreno FC from getting a goal against them. Alejo Bihar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Moreno FC's Rogelio Demario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejo Bihar in the 46th minute of play. Leonides Dalmau charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonides Dalmau the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Moreno FC getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Leonides Dalmau hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alejo Bihar made a kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Alejo Bihar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maipú's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejo Bihar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rogelio Demario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejo Bihar in the 56th minute of play. Rogelio Demario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejo Bihar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Danilo Dominguez was a little too slow when Jonatan Celio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 3-2. Alejo Bihar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Danilo Dominguez made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Hermengildo Oxarra sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Maipú's Danilo Dominguez got control of the ball when Hermengildo Oxarra tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rogelio Demario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejo Bihar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Vellito in the 84th minute of play forced Moreno FC's goalkeeper Rogelio Demario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rogelio Demario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejo Bihar in the 85th minute of the match. Rogelio Demario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejo Bihar in the 86th minute of play. When Hermengildo Oxarra came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Moreno FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermengildo Oxarra couldn't finish the play. 90 minutes into the match, Maipú's Jaime Tuste sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rogelio Demario narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alejo Bihar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Demario having to interfere. After having played for 95 minutes, Hermengildo Oxarra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moreno FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermengildo Oxarra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hermengildo Oxarra got free with Danilo Dominguez in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maipú's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
