A very good chance. 6 minutes into the match, Flemeros L.P.'s goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Unai came free, but Arnoldo Duardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Humberto Ferman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 11 minutes, Gerardo Lordi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flemeros L.P. and the Excursionistas players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Flemeros L.P. getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Gerardo Lordi hit a great ball. Arnoldo Duardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anacleto Dantel in the 12th minute of play. If Nestor Unai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cecilio Laurgain struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Arnoldo Duardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Excursionistas. In the 22nd minute, Sixto Ralondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the game, Excursionistas's Anacleto Dantel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnoldo Duardo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Manuel Otsoko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Excursionistas's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Otsoko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnoldo Duardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th minute, Victoriano Cambranes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Ferman in the 36th minute of play forced Excursionistas's goalkeeper Eustaquio Gonzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the game, Cecilio Laurgain was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Excursionistas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flemeros L.P. the free kick. In the 38th minute, Cecilio Laurgain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Excursionistas's zone, Gerardo Lordi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eustaquio Gonzo came out of the goal and Gerardo Lordi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The wind increased when Humberto Ferman made the kick off in the second half. Anacleto Dantel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Arnoldo Duardo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 53rd minute Humberto Ferman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustaquio Gonzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute of the match Patricio Rius sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnoldo Duardo skillfully saved the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Flemeros L.P.'s goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Unai came free, but Arnoldo Duardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nestor Unai blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnoldo Duardo having to make a save. In the 72nd minute, Victoriano Cambranes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Victoriano Cambranes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Ferman in the 75th minute of play forced Excursionistas's goalkeeper Eustaquio Gonzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Flemeros L.P. getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Leonel Beila hit a great ball. If Anacleto Dantel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anacleto Dantel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eustaquio Gonzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Ferman, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Leonel Beila blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eustaquio Gonzo having to make a save. 92 minutes into the match, Humberto Ferman notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Excursionistas's Eustaquio Gonzo. Eustaquio Gonzo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Humberto Ferman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustaquio Gonzo having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
