Humberto Sein came out of the goal and Anacleto Dantel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Humberto Sein was a little too slow when Nestor Unai got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filomeno Hurko in the 20th minute of play forced Excursionistas's goalkeeper Eustaquio Gonzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. BUTTELER MANDA's Filomeno Hurko got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eustaquio Gonzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filomeno Hurko in the 26th minute of play. Severino Ebardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustaquio Gonzo having to interfere. Humberto Sein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Unai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Excursionistas's Nestor Unai in the 35th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Humberto Sein was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for BUTTELER MANDA through an amazing save. Humberto Sein stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nestor Unai's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. If Cecilio Laurgain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nestor Unai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Humberto Sein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Excursionistas's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Ebardo came free, but Eustaquio Gonzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Severino Ebardo to strike the kick off in the second half. Excursionistas's supporters rose to their feet, but Anacleto Dantel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Humberto Sein breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filomeno Hurko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustaquio Gonzo having to interfere. Manuel Otsoko hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Excursionistas were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
