Spectators: 7229 (Terracing: 5423, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leonides Abreu started the match with the kick off. Victoriano Cambranes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gabriel Tartalo kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Humberto Ferman was extremely unlucky when he, in the 11th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonides Abreu in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnoldo Duardo saved Flemeros L.P. from getting behind. Flemeros L.P.'s Arnoldo Duardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Jatsu in the 18th minute of play. Victoriano Cambranes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raimundo Precioso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Leonides Abreu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jaime Jatsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 33 played minutes Flemeros L.P. got a freekick which was hit by Leonides Urtzi. After some careless play in the Flemeros L.P. defense, Jaime Jatsu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnoldo Duardo. The Flemeros L.P. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnoldo Duardo should have stopped the shot. Raimundo Precioso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Ferman in the 45th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Jaime Jatsu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnoldo Duardo. Flemeros L.P.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jaime Jatsu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Humberto Ferman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Leonides Abreu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Paraná's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonides Abreu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnoldo Duardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jaime Jatsu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Arnoldo Duardo made a huge save. Jaime Jatsu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59th match minute, Flemeros L.P. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquiles Olayo to maneuver through the defense. Flemeros L.P.'s Humberto Ferman got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Victoriano Cambranes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Humberto Ferman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Flemeros L.P.'s Victoriano Cambranes got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 77 minutes into the game, Pastor Matxin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atlético Paraná's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flemeros L.P. the free kick. Pastor Matxin hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. When Pastor Matxin was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 78 minutes had been played. In the 79th match minute, Club Atlético Paraná was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pastor Matxin to maneuver through the defense. Raimundo Precioso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victoriano Cambranes in the 80th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Paraná's Leonides Abreu got a free kick in the 81st minute. Jaime Jatsu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Arnoldo Duardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
