The audience was convinced that Alfredo Oroitz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mariano Urtzi was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Ambrosio Osmundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Urtzi having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pablo Geofredo got free with Haroldo Frederico in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romulo Gerazan in the 30th minute of play forced Freyre's goalkeeper Mariano Urtzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Alfredo Oroitz sped through Freyre's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mariano Urtzi. 38 minutes into the match, Alfredo Oroitz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mariano Urtzi. Freyre's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfredo Oroitz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. 43 minutes into the match, Marcial Florian notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Batatona FC's Haroldo Frederico. Haroldo Frederico was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 48th minute, Romulo Gerazan made a precise shot to the right of Mariano Urtzi. Freyre's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4.

Alfredo Oroitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Batatona FC's Americo Lastur shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 60th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Mariano Urtzi but with some difficulty. Alfredo Oroitz didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-5 via right post in the game's 62nd minute. Batatona FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Haroldo Frederico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionisio Montez in the 66th minute of the match. Americo Lastur kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Laureano Lugo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Haroldo Frederico. Batatona FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrosio Osmundo in the 98th minute of play forced Freyre's goalkeeper Mariano Urtzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Batatona FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Freyre.
