Patricio Hats received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Mariano Urtzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Freyre's Dionisio Montez got a free kick in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Patricio Hats notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Freyre's Mariano Urtzi. Mariano Urtzi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Patricio Hats received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Mariano Urtzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcial Florian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Patricio Hats managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pinguinos de Comodoro Riv's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Hats was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mariano Urtzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patricio Hats got free with Mariano Urtzi in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bruno Gombal was the one to do the kick off. Mariano Urtzi came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Pinguinos de Comodoro Riv's Patricio Hats. But to his dismay, Patricio Hats quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 56th match minute, Freyre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dionisio Montez to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Pinguinos de Comodoro Riv's Hipolito Cristofor tried to score from far away in the 57th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of Pinguinos de Comodoro Riv booed when Freyre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionisio Montez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bruno Gombal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pablo Geofredo took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iker Montay. Iker Montay dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Mariano Urtzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Gombal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patricio Hats received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Mariano Urtzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Patricio Hats managed to get in a good position for a shot.
