After a rather tough play, Tumanas FC's Carmelo Nardo got a free kick in the 39th minute. Saul Santio made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Anastasio Herensuge sent off a good shot on target. Zeledon Clementi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zeledon Clementi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Blas Esdras struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Saul Santio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tortugas. 61 minutes into the match, Tortugas's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Clementi came free, but Silvestre Pueblo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saul Santio came out of the goal and Anastasio Herensuge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blas Esdras in the 69th minute of play forced Tumanas FC's goalkeeper Saul Santio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saul Santio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blas Esdras, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Anastasio Herensuge's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saul Santio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Saul Santio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apolo Sauveur in the 83rd minute of the match. Teofilo Roldanillo struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Saul Santio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tortugas. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tumanas FC's goalkeeper Saul Santio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Tumanas FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Victorino Sugar hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Tumanas FC's zone, Teofilo Roldanillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saul Santio came out of the goal and Teofilo Roldanillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Anastasio Herensuge came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Tortugas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anastasio Herensuge couldn't finish the play. Anastasio Herensuge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Blas Esdras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Santio having to interfere.
