The audience was convinced that Flavio Remicio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mariano Urtzi was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Marcial Florian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gualterio Filipo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Mariano Urtzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Manantiales F.C. booed when Freyre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Gelmiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Freyre's Jaime Gelmiro got a free kick in the 21st minute. Gualterio Filipo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the match, Freyre's Pablo Geofredo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jeremias Osoitz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alvaro Silviano charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alvaro Silviano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mariano Urtzi came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Manantiales F.C.'s Flavio Remicio. But to his dismay, Flavio Remicio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 43rd minute of the match, Marcial Florian tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jeremias Osoitz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Marcial Florian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcial Florian made a kick off. Jeremias Osoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcial Florian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th match minute, Freyre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcial Florian to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes into the match, Flavio Remicio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mariano Urtzi, 1-3. After 67 played minutes Flavio Remicio rounded Freyre's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-4. After having played for 74 minutes, Pablo Geofredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Freyre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pablo Geofredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mariano Urtzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Remicio in the 75th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Pablo Geofredo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jeremias Osoitz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. A collision led to Manantiales F.C. getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Alvaro Silviano hit a great ball. In the 86th minute, Pablo Geofredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 89 played minutes Manantiales F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Joseph. In the 93rd minute Pablo Geofredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Osoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Manantiales F.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
