With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carolo Palben prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Benito Florin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvaldo Mark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carolo Palben having to interfere. After 28 played minutes, Escuela Tortuga's Leonel Nel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Diego Abilio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Escuela Tortuga reached it. Carolo Palben took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benito Florin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Escuela Tortuga's goalkeeper Carolo Palben, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Benito Florin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valentin Celino to strike the kick off in the second half. Valentin Celino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute, Benito Florin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Escuela Tortuga's Carolo Palben proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Escuela Tortuga from getting a goal against them. When Benito Florin came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Manchester City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benito Florin couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Enaut in the 75th minute of play forced Escuela Tortuga's goalkeeper Carolo Palben to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Escuela Tortuga's Ermegildo Ur got a free kick in the 76th minute. Escuela Tortuga's Valentin Celino got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fidel Firme blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Diego Abilio having to make a save. In the 90th minute Valentin Celino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Abilio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 92 minutes, Osvaldo Mark mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manchester City and the Escuela Tortuga players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 92nd minute, Osvaldo Mark hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 93 minutes, Fidel Firme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Escuela Tortuga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fidel Firme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gustavo Enaut charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustavo Enaut the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th match minute, Manchester City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Enaut to maneuver through the defense. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
