Douglas Haig's Joel Fertus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Esdras in the 17th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Douglas Haig's Haroldo Monico got a free kick in the 17th minute. A collision led to Douglas Haig getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Delmar Esdras hit a great ball. Joel Fertus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blas Esdras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvestre Pueblo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Perrando, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Douglas Haig's Joel Fertus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Esdras in the 34th minute of play. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Placido Hechter sped through Douglas Haig's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joel Fertus. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Perrando in the 40th minute of play forced Tortugas's goalkeeper Silvestre Pueblo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Douglas Haig's Joel Fertus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Esdras in the 43rd minute of play. After 45 minutes of play, Tortugas's Blas Esdras made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joel Fertus was left in no man's land by his defense there! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isidoro Perrando to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Isidoro Perrando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Pueblo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Tortugas booed when Douglas Haig was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Ramoser didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 61 played minutes, Tortugas's Gavino Donzel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joel Fertus came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tortugas reached it. Joel Fertus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 72nd minute, one of Douglas Haig:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Douglas Haig. Douglas Haig:s Joel Fertus showed great skill when he stopped Gavino Donzel:s penalty. Tortugas's Ovidio Perpinya got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Tortugas's Gavino Donzel got a free kick in the 79th minute. Silvestre Pueblo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Perrando in the 80th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blas Esdras in the 87th minute of play forced Douglas Haig's goalkeeper Joel Fertus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvestre Pueblo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Generoso Ovando in the 91st minute of the match. Joel Fertus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blas Esdras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute Blas Esdras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Fertus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tortugas were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Douglas Haig for a fine match.
