The coaching staff of Barcala protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Iker Nuñez had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 10 minutes into the game, one of Barcala:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ermegildo Ekain placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After having played for 13 minutes, Ermegildo Ekain managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pueblito AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ermegildo Ekain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 15th minute Froilan George shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesus Koldobika saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Barcala's Camilo Mancio got a free kick in the 20th minute. Froilan George sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute Aurelio Montes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesus Koldobika saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Barcala defense, Froilan George kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jesus Koldobika. The Barcala fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jesus Koldobika should have stopped the shot. Ovidio Lordi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Bernabel in the 40th minute of play forced Barcala's goalkeeper Jesus Koldobika to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The wind increased when Froilan George made the kick off in the second half. Jesus Koldobika breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ermegildo Ekain lost his temper 60 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 59 minutes into the game, one of Pueblito AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Barcala's Jesus Koldobika proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Barcala from getting a goal against them. Romeo Naelio might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jesus Koldobika. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The tension between the Barcala and the Pueblito AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Barcala getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Gavino Arias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filomeno Cai kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After 94 played minutes, Barcala's Timoteo Esdras shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gavino Arias came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Barcala reached it. After a rather tough play, Pueblito AFC's Rodolfo Bernabel got a free kick in the 95th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
