In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Barcala's goalkeeper Jesus Koldobika, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Niceto Tono fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Koldobika having to interfere. When Paolo Enekoitz came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Sportivo Lobos Tandil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paolo Enekoitz couldn't finish the play. Niceto Tono's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jesus Koldobika read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Jesus Koldobika showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Tono, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Barcala supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Barcala would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
