After a defensive mix-up in Ávalos's zone, Froilan George stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ariel Toli came out of the goal and Froilan George tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan George in the 24th minute of play forced Ávalos's goalkeeper Ariel Toli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ariel Toli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froilan George in the 26th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by Denis Qwinton got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Francisco Erasto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the match, Ávalos's Denis Qwinton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gavino Arias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ariel Toli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Naelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Denis Qwinton stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Denis Qwinton notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Pueblito AFC's Gavino Arias. Gavino Arias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Froilan George got free with Ariel Toli in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 64 minutes, Romeo Naelio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pueblito AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romeo Naelio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78th minute Froilan George shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Toli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ariel Toli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froilan George, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. When Romeo Naelio came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Pueblito AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romeo Naelio couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Ávalos's Ariel Toli got control of the ball when Romeo Naelio tried to sneak it across the goal line.
