In the 48th minute, Denis Qwinton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Ávalos were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Denis Qwinton stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ariel Toli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejandro Romelio in the 85th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Ávalos's goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Tono came free, but Ariel Toli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Sportivo Lobos Tandil fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ávalos were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
