Jonatan Ferdinand might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Desiderio Abechuco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonatan Ferdinand ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 10th minute, Felipe Innocenzio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jesus Koldobika was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Nicolas Lucero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Jesus Koldobika tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felipe Innocenzio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Koldobika having to interfere. 27 minutes into the game, Nicolas Lucero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Jesus Koldobika was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Jonatan Ferdinand came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Barcala fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonatan Ferdinand couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicolas Lucero in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jesus Koldobika prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 40th minute Nicolas Lucero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesus Koldobika saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipe Innocenzio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jesus Koldobika read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Desiderio Abechuco was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Jonatan Ferdinand capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jonatan Ferdinand really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonatan Ferdinand was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Delicia's Joaquin Chale slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jesus Koldobika. That made the score 1-3 after 54 minutes of play. Jacinto Truylos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desiderio Abechuco having to interfere. Barcala's Jesus Koldobika played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Innocenzio in the 61st minute of play. Nicolas Lucero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Nicolas Lucero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, one of Delicia:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Delicia. In the 75th minute there was a penalty for Barcala. Timoteo Esdras stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Desiderio Abechuco. 2-3. After having played for 85 minutes, Felipe Innocenzio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Delicia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipe Innocenzio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felipe Innocenzio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barcala's Jesus Koldobika proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Barcala from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Ovidio Lordi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barcala's supporters rose to their feet, but Ovidio Lordi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Desiderio Abechuco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
