After a defensive mix-up in Racing Club's zone, Cirilo Abad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteban Mazuste came out of the goal and Cirilo Abad tried to chip the ball over his head. Anastasio Frances came out of the goal and Adrian Goizeder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teofilo Calisto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Esteban Mazuste having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Goizeder in the 86th minute of play forced Seco's goalkeeper Anastasio Frances to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudio Vasco's late challenge caught a Racing Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudio Vasco helped the player get up and apologised. After 87 played minutes Seco got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Vasco. Esteban Mazuste showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Calisto, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Cirilo Abad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Mazuste having to interfere. The Racing Club players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Seco from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
