Maximo Pepillo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 14th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. In the 22nd minute, Gaston Gimenez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Heroes del Silencio FC's goalie Maximo Pepillo was quick on his feet when Florentino Urtsua aimed and made a shot towards the top left corner. The goalie picked down the ball without great difficulties. The supporters of Berutti FC booed when Heroes del Silencio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Acosta didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Heroes del Silencio FC's goalkeeper Maximo Pepillo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florentino Urtsua. Gaston Gimenez kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Florentino Urtsua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Florentino Urtsua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Pepillo having to interfere. Domingo Salbatore's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maximo Pepillo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Heroes del Silencio FC's zone, Florentino Urtsua stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximo Pepillo came out of the goal and Florentino Urtsua tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After a rather tough play, Heroes del Silencio FC's Denis Acosta got a free kick in the 51st minute. 52 minutes into the game, Berutti FC's Florentino Urtsua nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maximo Pepillo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Maximo Pepillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentino Urtsua, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. If Florentino Urtsua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaston Gimenez charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaston Gimenez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Angel Domenec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Arotza having to interfere. Angelino Osorio struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Abel Arotza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Heroes del Silencio FC. In the 81st minute Florentino Urtsua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Pepillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Domingo Salbatore recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Angelino Osorio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Abel Arotza when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Domingo Salbatore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Pepillo having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Domingo Salbatore managed to get in a good position for a shot. Berutti FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Domingo Salbatore was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximo Pepillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
