Abel Arotza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximo Bertin in the 12th minute of the match. If Feliciano Petri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boca juniors's Gualterio Ospetsu got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gualterio Ospetsu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Arotza having to interfere. Maximo Bertin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mauricio Olando charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mauricio Olando the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Berutti FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Mauricio Olando hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Feliciano Petri got free with Abel Arotza in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gualterio Ospetsu struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Abel Arotza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boca juniors. In the 29th minute Maximo Bertin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Arotza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabian Castel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabian Castel might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abel Arotza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabian Castel ran back to his position shaking his head. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Feliciano Petri made a kick off. If Rodrigo Txerran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. Abel Arotza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Castel, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Gualterio Ospetsu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Arotza having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rosendo Chabier during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Boca juniors booed when Berutti FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Abecia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boca juniors walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
