After 33 played minutes Bouwer FC got a freekick which was hit by Godofredo Eliazar. Abel Arotza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timoteo Esdras in the 36th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Bouwer FC's zone, Domingo Salbatore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anier Toro came out of the goal and Domingo Salbatore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Berutti FC's Abel Arotza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Berutti FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Bouwer FC booed when Berutti FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amado Peyo didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Timoteo Esdras to make the kick off.
