With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abel Arotza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nicasio Uxio struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Abel Arotza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PAMPAS FUTBOL CLUB. Florencio Evis's late challenge caught a Berutti FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florencio Evis helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, PAMPAS FUTBOL CLUB's Florencio Evis got a free kick in the 46th minute. 47 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Berutti FC's Domingo Salbatore fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

PAMPAS FUTBOL CLUB's Abelardo Irrintzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentino Urtsua in the 55th minute of play. After 57 minutes PAMPAS FUTBOL CLUB's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Honorio Herauso who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Berutti FC's Rosendo Chabier to fire away a dangerous shot which Abelardo Irrintzi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Abelardo Irrintzi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Florentino Urtsua went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Abelardo Irrintzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingo Salbatore, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Amado Peyo's late challenge caught a PAMPAS FUTBOL CLUB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
