Dalmacio Jayvier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Nicasio Uxio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicasio Uxio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Reno having to interfere. A collision led to Rayo Futbol Club getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Mateo Dubardo hit a great ball. The supporters of PAMPAS FUTBOL CLUB booed when Rayo Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guaberto Vermudo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Conrado Reno was a little too slow when Dalmacio Jayvier got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 1-0. Rene Buinton kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Guaberto Vermudo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rayo Futbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Guaberto Vermudo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abelardo Irrintzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 37 minutes into the match, Rayo Futbol Club's Dalmacio Aritza broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Jacinto Pes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abelardo Irrintzi came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Rayo Futbol Club's Orlando Evarado. But to his dismay, Orlando Evarado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dalmacio Jayvier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jacinto Pes took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Conrado Reno. Conrado Reno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Nicasio Uxio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Conrado Reno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmacio Jayvier, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Rayo Futbol Club's zone, Dalmacio Jayvier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Conrado Reno came out of the goal and Dalmacio Jayvier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to PAMPAS FUTBOL CLUB getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Tadeo Lidon hit a great ball. Modesto Paz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 88 minutes, Modesto Paz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rayo Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Modesto Paz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute Modesto Paz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Irrintzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Despite being the better team, PAMPAS FUTBOL CLUB failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
