With an extended leg and a bit of luck Santo Cibran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hugo Muc might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abelardo Irrintzi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hugo Muc ran back to his position shaking his head. Hugo Muc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Irrintzi having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Bernardino Rivadavia's Hugo Muc dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After 17 minutes of play, Bernardino Rivadavia's Fulgencio Lluc made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abelardo Irrintzi was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ricardo Senen during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of PAMPAS FUTBOL CLUB booed when Bernardino Rivadavia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Irrintzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Muc in the 27th minute of play. Hugo Muc was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 28th minute. Bernardino Rivadavia's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Nicasio Uxio struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Santo Cibran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PAMPAS FUTBOL CLUB. Hugo Muc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Filiberto Ireno fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bernardino Rivadavia's protests and gave Filiberto Ireno a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of PAMPAS FUTBOL CLUB booed when Bernardino Rivadavia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filiberto Ireno didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

For all the effort they put into the match, the PAMPAS FUTBOL CLUB players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bernardino Rivadavia.
