Salvador Tancredo charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Salvador Tancredo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to C.A. Momo Sampler getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Salvador Tancredo hit a great ball. Julian Vachon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Pedro Ekain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Leo Mitxel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olimpo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leo Mitxel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Ekain breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leo Mitxel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Pedro Ekain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 14 played minutes C.A. Momo Sampler got a freekick which was hit by Victorino Guilabertus. If Teobaldo Raphael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pedro Ekain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Vachon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, C.A. Momo Sampler's goalkeeper Pedro Ekain had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leo Mitxel. In the 24th minute, Julian Vachon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 26 played minutes C.A. Momo Sampler got a freekick which was hit by Moises Eztebe. Alejandro Tximitx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Domiku having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, C.A. Momo Sampler's Teobaldo Raphael sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hernan Domiku narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 43rd minute there was a penalty for C.A. Momo Sampler. Silverio Mirande stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hernan Domiku. 0-1. After the first half C.A. Momo Sampler were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Vachon to make the kick off. Julian Vachon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Conrado Azibar's late challenge caught a C.A. Momo Sampler's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Conrado Azibar helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Olimpo FC's Conrado Azibar got a free kick in the 70th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Olimpo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Raphael came free, but Hernan Domiku reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leo Mitxel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Ekain having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Vachon in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Ekain prevented the ball from getting in the gole. C.A. Momo Sampler's Pedro Ekain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Mitxel in the 78th minute of play. Leo Mitxel kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Paolo Todor hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Teobaldo Raphael might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hernan Domiku. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teobaldo Raphael ran back to his position shaking his head. Despite being the better team, Olimpo FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
