Benito Pes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Viator in the 5th minute of play. A collision led to matadores fc getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Modesto Baladi hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the match, Le Psychopédagogue's Herminio Gonza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julian Javiero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Julian Javiero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Geleberto in the 13th minute of the match. Le Psychopédagogue's Benito Pes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Azeari in the 17th minute of play. Gregorio Geleberto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcelino Pueblo kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Benito Pes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Viator, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Julian Javiero made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Herminio Gonza sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Gregorio Geleberto took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Julian Javiero to make any attempt to save it. After 40 played minutes Le Psychopédagogue got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Gutxi. When Felix Viator came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the matadores fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Viator couldn't finish the play. Benito Pes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Viator in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Le Psychopédagogue's Benito Pes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Le Psychopédagogue from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Viator in the 56th minute of play forced Le Psychopédagogue's goalkeeper Benito Pes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the game, matadores fc's Pastor Azeari nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Pes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 68th minute Gregorio Geleberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Javiero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Modesto Baladi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Benito Pes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The matadores fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julian Javiero should have stopped the shot. In the 96th minute Felix Viator shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Pes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
