But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herminio Ezkerra couldn't finish the play. 13 minutes into the match, Segundo Bembe notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ubajay AFC's Isidro Azeari. Isidro Azeari was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Herminio Ezkerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Herminio Ezkerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ubajay AFC's Zeledon Jerrald got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Abel Bernebe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lisandro Isadore was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Luciano Pasqual charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When Zeledon Jerrald came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Ubajay AFC fans jumped to their feet. In the 58th minute, Abel Bernebe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Segundo Bembe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lisandro Isadore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Bernebe, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Domingos Hernando's late challenge caught a Ubajay AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domingos Hernando helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ubajay AFC booed when Los Faisanes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position.
