Duraznito FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Oto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Ekain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquiles Galoer in the 32nd minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Duraznito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Raphael came free, but Arsenio Godoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Alejandro Tximitx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teobaldo Raphael in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arsenio Godoy saved Duraznito FC from getting behind. Duraznito FC's Jacinto Oto got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, C.A. Momo Sampler's Moises Eztebe got a free kick in the 44th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teobaldo Raphael stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Jacinto Oto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Duraznito FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto Oto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Ekain breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joaquin Koldo kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teobaldo Raphael couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Duraznito FC's Felipe Alfonso got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. Momo Sampler's zone, Felix Fagildo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Ekain came out of the goal and Felix Fagildo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
