An unexpectedly hard shot by Everardo Erramun in the 10th minute of play forced Chapanay FC's goalkeeper Danny Brotherton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Deportivo Pan Dulce's Lorenzo Danel got control of the ball when Edgardo Irrintzi tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Hector Abel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgardo Irrintzi scored 2-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lorenzo Danel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th minute, Everardo Erramun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Danny Brotherton was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Hipolito Hechter scored 2-2 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Danny Brotherton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Chapanay FC defense, Everardo Erramun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Danny Brotherton. The Chapanay FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Danny Brotherton should have stopped the shot. After 33 played minutes Hector Abel rounded Deportivo Pan Dulce's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-3. Everardo Erramun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danny Brotherton having to interfere. Feliberto Mikelar hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute of the match Hipolito Hechter shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Danny Brotherton showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Chapanay FC booed when Deportivo Pan Dulce was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauricio Jaunzuria didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elias Gorbea to make the kick off. Danny Brotherton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Gorbea in the 51st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Muno in the 55th minute of play forced Chapanay FC's goalkeeper Danny Brotherton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Florentino Cresencio during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Hipolito Hechter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Danny Brotherton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Gorbea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Everardo Erramun's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Danny Brotherton skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Hipolito Hechter came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Deportivo Pan Dulce fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hipolito Hechter couldn't finish the play. Hipolito Hechter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Danny Brotherton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Chapanay FC's Danny Brotherton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Chapanay FC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 86 minutes, Hector Abel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chapanay FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector Abel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hector Abel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Lorenzo Danel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Chapanay FC's goalkeeper Danny Brotherton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Hermon. Deportivo Pan Dulce played a much better game than Chapanay FC and deserved their victory. The Chapanay FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
