Cristobal Constancio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Danny Brotherton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. 11 minutes into the game, Hugo Lluterio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Danny Brotherton. Hugo Lluterio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 14 minutes into the match, Chapanay FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Lluterio came free, but Danny Brotherton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristobal Constancio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Danny Brotherton made a huge save. In the 21st minute Edgardo Irrintzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ján Uchiha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th match minute, Balrak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristobal Constancio to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Urti in the 29th minute of play forced Chapanay FC's goalkeeper Danny Brotherton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Lluterio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danny Brotherton having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hector Abel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Chapanay FC's Danny Brotherton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Lluterio in the 52nd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Balrak's goalkeeper Ján Uchiha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgardo Irrintzi. Hugo Lluterio struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Danny Brotherton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balrak. Eleuterio Nerio charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eleuterio Nerio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 60 minutes into the game, one of Chapanay FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Candido Chucho shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Hector Abel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ján Uchiha made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Hector Abel sent off a good shot on target. Cristobal Constancio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Danny Brotherton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute Hector Abel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ján Uchiha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florentino Cresencio charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. A collision led to Balrak getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Santos Urti hit a great ball. Danny Brotherton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Lluterio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florentino Cresencio kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. If Hugo Lluterio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Balrak were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Chapanay FC for a fine match.
