Aldo Lonzo kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Felipe Rocendo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Oton in the 9th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Aldo Lonzo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felipe Rocendo. Cipolletti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aldo Lonzo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Tomás Pierres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Otoniel, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Monte Olivia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! Tomás Pierres had in the 31stth minute some difficulties stopping Rene Abella's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 31st minute, Rene Abella ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomás Pierres was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Aldo Lonzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Rocendo having to interfere. Felipe Rocendo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tolino in the 37th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manuel Otoniel got free with Tomás Pierres in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alberto Tolino made a kick off. Felipe Rocendo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tolino in the 52nd minute of play. Tomás Pierres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benigno Kiliz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Tolino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Felipe Rocendo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomás Pierres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Otoniel, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cipolletti's zone, Alberto Tolino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felipe Rocendo came out of the goal and Alberto Tolino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aldo Lonzo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Cipolletti's goalkeeper Felipe Rocendo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tolino. Aldo Lonzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felipe Rocendo made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Alberto Tolino sent off a good shot on target. The Cipolletti support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
